Crane outrigger pads are key auxiliary components that ensure the safety of lifting operations. Their main functions can be summarized as follows:

Distribute pressure and protect the ground: By increasing the contact area between the outrigger and the ground, the concentrated load of the equipment is evenly distributed, significantly reducing the pressure per unit area and preventing the collapse or cracking of soft or ordinary ground. For example, a high-quality 1m × 1m pad can reduce the outrigger pressure to about 1/10 of the original.

Enhance equipment stability and safety: On uneven terrain, soft soil, or backfilled areas, the pad provides stable support, preventing the crane from tilting, sliding, or overturning. Some products can compensate for ground unevenness within 5% and increase the friction coefficient by up to 40% through anti-slip patterns.

Extend equipment service life: By isolating sharp objects, moisture, and corrosive substances (such as salt spray and oil), they reduce wear and corrosion to the outrigger metal components, which is especially advantageous in humid or chemical environments.

Adapt to complex working conditions and improve operational efficiency: They are lightweight and easy to handle (only 1/10 the weight of steel plates), have a wide temperature range (-180°C to +80°C), support modular assembly, and are suitable for various scenarios such as construction, ports, power maintenance, and disaster rescue.
