Flame-retardant polyethylene sheets are functional engineering plastic sheets made on the basis of ordinary polyethylene (PE) by adding flame retardants or using special modification processes. They combine the excellent properties of polyethylene with flame-retardant characteristics.
Excellent Flame Retardant Performance
Can achieve flame-retardant ratings such as UL94 V-0, V-1, and V-2, self-extinguishing within 3–10 seconds after the flame source is removed.
Produces less smoke and low toxicity during burning; some products comply with environmental standards such as RoHS and REACH.
Retains Inherent Advantages of Polyethylene
Non-toxic and odorless, meeting food-grade or medical-grade application requirements.
Chemical Resistance: Can withstand erosion by most acids, alkalis, and organic solvents.
Strong Low-Temperature Resistance: Usable temperature range is typically -150℃ to 80℃, still maintaining good toughness at low temperatures. Low water absorption and good electrical insulation.
